- FAIR USE POLICY
EZSCALE Hosting, LLC (“EZSCALE”) is committed to providing reliable and efficient hosting services to all of its clients. To ensure fair and optimal usage of our resources and to maintain the quality of service for all users, EZSCALE has implemented this Fair Use Policy (“Policy”). This Policy outlines the acceptable use of EZSCALE’s hosting services, including but not limited to bandwidth usage, resource consumption, and restrictions imposed in cases of abuse.
2. Bandwidth Usage
Bandwidth is the amount of data that can be transferred to and from a website or server within a specified period. EZSCALE provides generous bandwidth allocations to its clients, which are designed to accommodate normal website operations and usage. However, excessive or abusive use of bandwidth can negatively impact the performance of our servers and the experience of other users.
Clients are expected to use EZSCALE’s bandwidth resources responsibly. Any usage that exceeds normal levels or is deemed to be abusive may result in restrictions being placed on the account, including but not limited to:
EZSCALE reserves the right to monitor bandwidth usage and take appropriate actions to mitigate abuse.
3. Resource Consumption
In addition to bandwidth, EZSCALE allocates various resources such as CPU, memory, and disk space to each hosting account. Clients are expected to use these resources reasonably and avoid activities that may negatively impact the performance of EZSCALE’s servers or disrupt the services provided to other users.
Clients found to be consuming an excessive amount of resources or engaging in activities that degrade server performance may be subject to the following actions:
EZSCALE will assess resource consumption based on factors such as server load, CPU usage, memory usage, and disk space utilization.
4. Abuse Detection and Response
EZSCALE employs various monitoring tools and techniques to detect instances of abuse or excessive usage. These may include but are not limited to:
If EZSCALE determines that a client’s usage is abusive or in violation of this Policy, EZSCALE reserves the right to take appropriate actions to address the issue. Such actions may include:
Clients who believe that they have been unfairly targeted or that their services have been restricted erroneously may contact EZSCALE’s support team to report the issue. EZSCALE will investigate such reports promptly and take corrective actions if necessary.
6. Amendments
EZSCALE reserves the right to modify this Fair Use Policy at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about any changes. Continued use of EZSCALE’s hosting services after changes to this Policy constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
